"Imported Dust in North America Skies"

NASA and university scientists conduct a study on the airborne particles moving across Earth’s atmosphere. It was hypothesized that the particles were created solely from pollution. With the help of imagery obtained by NASA satellites, it was determined that these particles were accumulated dust from countries around the world.

"This could change atmospheric circulations. And it could have a significant impact on weather and climate," says Dr. Hongbin Yu, Professor at the University of Maryland and scientist working with NASA.
